I have had the honor and privilege of having fulfilled an incredible life long career as a healthcare professional. I couldn’t think of a better way to grow professionally than to open my med spa. You can trust that I will be your partner in helping you take charge of your health and beauty needs. I would love to meet with you and look forward to seeing you soon!

My Story

I am a native of Iowa City having worked my entire life in healthcare with over 30 + years of experience in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

I graduated with my BSN from Mt. Mercy in Cedar Rapids working nearly 10 years at the University of Iowa Burn Treatment Center and Post anesthesia care unit.

Evidence-based practice has always been at the core of my nursing career to deliver safe and up to date care. My love to learn led me back to graduate school where I obtained my MSN and became the first class to graduate from Clarke University Doctor of Nurse Practice program.

I worked over 11 years at the University of Iowa high risk/breast cancer survivorship clinic. Getting to know the patient as a person was important to me. Just as important was educating patients about their body with an emphasis in healthy aging.

My creative-artistic side sparked my interest to learn once again this time turning to esthetics. I received certification in neurotoxin injections through Esthetic Skin Institute and I am oncology trained. Together with Skin Deep Salon and Spa, we can offer customized skin care for anyone including those with health challenges as a result of cancer treatment.
